2023 Summit Recap

DOC is proud to have been named to the 2023 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI), a comprehensive scorecard tracking the performance of public companies in terms of gender equity. The GEI relies upon voluntary gender-data reporting, measuring equality across five pillars: female leadership and talent pipeline, equal pay and gender pay parity, inclusive culture, anti-sexual harassment policies, and external brand. Companies are included in the Index if they score above Bloomberg’s established global threshold.
This is DOC’s first year participating in the Bloomberg GEI, and our inclusion is a testament to our emphasis on DEI initiatives as a company. We’re proud of this recognition and excited to continue our Invest in better® growth in this space moving forward.

Physicians Realty Trust recently hosted our 7th annual DOC Management Summit at our Milwaukee headquarters. Over 275 Facility Management Partners, Leasing Partners, DOC team members, sponsors, and guests joined us in person for the first time since the pandemic began. In addition, our main stage sessions were live streamed to an even wider audience to accommodate our growing team, and we held virtual breakout sessions with a nationwide lineup of CRE speakers. The Management Summit is a tremendous opportunity for networking with peers, sharing ideas, and learning about new DOC process improvements.
The Summit is also an appreciation event for our nationwide teams each year. We recognize leaders in customer service, satisfaction, capital projects, brokerage, sustainability, and culture. Please join us in congratulating these extraordinary partners who were honored at our Thursday, Sept. 15 Awards Gala:

Last month, Michelle, a patient at DOC-owned Zangmeister Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio, received her final chemo treatment in a battle against breast cancer. Patients such as Michelle can be at a higher risk for COVID-19, but the Zangmeister health care team ensured the facility remained a safe space for patients to continue receiving their life-saving treatments. Michelle is finished with treatment, and her entire family was able to celebrate this tremendous milestone.
“We are proud to exercise the utmost diligence to keep our facility and patients safe,” Zangmeister Associate Director of Practice Operations, Christine Pfaff, RPh, shared. “We aren’t just treating a patient – we’re treating someone’s mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt, too. To see the whole family celebrate together was truly a gift.”
From all of us at DOC, congratulations to Michelle, her family, and the entire Zangmeister team for being true heroes!
DOC is proud to share this story from the Milwaukee Business Journal featuring our efforts with the West Allis Fire Department and their COVID-19 response through our Firehouse Square property. Thanks for shining a light on this great partnership!
